Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.

1-year certification in Basic Life Support (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)

  • Attendance and participation are essential for the full session.
  • Physical effort is required for the CPR course. Individuals who have pre-existing medical issues, such as pregnancy, bone, muscle, joint, or respiratory disorders, should see a doctor before attending. We accept no risk or liability for any accidents or illnesses that may occur as a consequence of course participation. Please see your doctor and remain safe.
  • Along with a written multiple-choice test, participants are assessed on their proficiency in first aid and CPR during the course.
  • There are no refunds for failed efforts.

You will get an email from Red Cross inviting you to obtain your permanent and official certification card three to four business days following your training. You may retrieve your certification through My Red Cross and print or reprint it in wall or pocket card size. In case you have any trouble locating your certification, kindly get in touch with us.

In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. Pre-hospital care providers may include professionals in fire service, rescue teams, sports medicine, lifeguards, and ski patrol.
