The payment reference number can be found in the payment confirmation email sent to you when you pay for the exam.

The fees for any type of IELTS Exam(Academic or General, Paper Based or Computer Delivered) is

  • $339 (inclusive of tax) if paid by credit card or online payment.

You will be provided with your Payment Reference Number within 48 business hours of payment.
Note: Weekends are not considered as business hours.

If your documents are not uploaded until 4 days before the exam date, your exam will be automatically cancelled. You won’t be eligible for any transfers or refunds.

To register online, go to IELTS Registration & IELTS Test Dates page. Once you make up your mind, just click on the register button. You will be redirected to the registration page where you can select your desired date and register for the exam.

Yes, we do provide latest wireless headphones for all registered candidates for both academic and general IELTS. Along with headphones, every candidate is also provided with the necessary stationery required for the test including sharpened pencils and erasers.

On the exam day, registered candidates must carry a valid Passport or Permanent Resident Card. It should be the same that is used for the registration. Stationery such as pencils, erasers, and headphones for the test will be provided by the centre. Test takers can bring water in a transparent bottle. No other material is permitted inside the test hall. It includes watches, phones, smartphones, headphones, papers, mechanical pencils, erasers with wrappers, jewelry.

Yes, BITTS provides IELTS preparatory courses for people who are looking to appear for the IELTS exam soon. For more information, related to the course and fees, contact our student advisor.

All of the materials required for the candidate to appear for listening, reading and writing test will be provided by the test center. Materials include headphones, pencils, erasers, etc.

The test starts between 9:00 and 9:30 and usually takes 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the Listening, Reading and Writing components. The speaking component is scheduled separately either on the same day or an adjoining day. The format is as follows:
-Listening: 30 minutes
-Reading: 60 minutes
-Writing 60 minutes
-Speaking 11-15 minutes
*Speaking date may or may not be on the same day as the other three modules.

Yes, one can collect TRF on the candidate’s behalf. To do that, the candidate has to send an email to ielts@bitts.ca mentioning the candidate details (Full Name, DOB, Exam date and ID Document Number) and attach the government photo ID of the person who will collect TRF.

Request for Cancellation must be made via ticket only at support.bitts.ca however, cancellation requested via telephone or in-person will not be accepted.

IELTS Cancellation Policy

For more than 14 days before your test date (excluding the test day)
One will receive 75% refund of your registration fee.
Within 5-14 days from your test date (excluding the test day)
You will receive 50% refund of your registration fee.
Within 5 days from your test date (excluding the test day)
No refund.

The refund will be processed within 2-3 weeks. Candidates are not eligible for a refund if they request for cancellations after the required deadline has passed. The candidate should send the completed Request for Refund/Transfer Form and submit a ticket online to process the request.

If one is a refugee, will first submit a document to test center prior to registration for approval. Once approved, can then register for the IELTS exam. On the Test Day, he/she will have to carry their “Refugee Protection Claimant Document” with them and any other form of government-issued photo ID.

You can collect your TRF from the main office

7895 Tranmere Dr, Unit 230, Mississauga, ON L5S 1V9 between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates can show their passport or any other Canadian issues ID.

More than 14 days before the test date

  • You are eligible for transfer within 3 months from the original test date.
  • If it is more than 3 months, it would be considered as cancellation.
  • Only one transfer is allowed for one booking.
  • An administration fee of 75 CAD would be charged for transfer.
  • The candidate should send the form and submit an online ticket at support.bitts.ca
  • Once transferred, they won’t be refunded.

If the transfer request is received within 14 days

  • It would be considered a cancellation
  • No transfers

Transfers requests due to Covid

  • If your request comes within 5 days of your original test date along with the COVID positive result and completed transfer form; you are eligible for one free transfer.
  • Our team will be transferring your exam to the next available dates after the mandatory period of quarantine.
  • No further transfers will be allowed.
  • Transfers due to COVID are not eligible for a refund.

Special Circumstances

  • We will consider your transfer request under the special circumstances only if the request is received within 5 days of the original test date
  • You must submit a form and an administration fee of 75 CAD

The following are considered Special Circumstances for Test-Day transfer:

  • Serious Illness — hospital admission or serious injury: accompanied by a medical note from a registered Medical Doctor.
  • Loss or Bereavement — death of a close family member: accompanied by a death certificate.
  • Hardship/Trauma — victim of a crime, victim of a traffic accident: accompanied by a police report.
  • Military Service — enlist: accompanied by a letter from the government.

Yes, BITTS provides an option to send TRF via express post to the requested organizations. An electronic copy is sent to organizations for those that are set up to receive the same. Candidates need to send the completed application to issue additional TRFs and submit tickets online. 5 additional copies of TRF to recognized organizations are included in the IELTS registration fee. Provided they were included at the time of registration. Any requests for additional TRF after the test date would be subject to 30 dollars admin fee per TRF + 30 to 50 dollars postage (if applicable).

  • You must request for EOR within six weeks of your test date
  • To apply for EOR, submit a completed Enquiry on Results Form to ielts.eor@bitts.ca
  • You may choose one or more modules of the test to be reevaluated
  • The fees for EOR is $275 regardless of the number of modules you chose
  • The process takes 4-6 weeks, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark.
  • You will receive an EOR letter stating your final result status.
  • You will be required to return your previously issued Test Report Form if your result is changed before a new one can be issued.
  • If there are any changes to your score, you will be refunded the amount of 225 CAD to your registered account. 50 CAD will be deducted as administration fee.
  • If there are no changes, no fees would be refunded.

Application for the Issue of Additional TRFs – 30 dollars admin fee per TRF + 30 to 50 dollars postage (depending upon location).
Enquiry on Results Form – 275 CAD from which 225 CAD will be refunded, if the score changes. No funds will be refunded if there is no change in the score
Request for Cancellation or Refund Form – Please read cancellation and refund policy before proceeding
Request for Test Date Transfer Form – An admin fees of $75 would be charged for Test Date Transfer

An Approved ID (Original Passport / PR Card only) is mandatory to carry on the day of the test and needs to be presented to the Test Day Staff upon your arrival at the venue. If any candidate forgets to carry his/ her original approved ID on the day of the exam, he/ she would be denied entry. There won’t be any exceptions made and no requests for refunds or transfers would be accepted.
