The payment reference number can be found in the payment confirmation email sent to you when you pay for the exam.

The most convenient way of payment is online via Stripe payment. However, if you are unable to do so, you can always choose any one modes of payment –

To register online, go to IELTS Registration & IELTS Test Dates page. Once you make up your mind, just click on the register button. You will be redirected to the registration page where you can select your desired date and register for the exam.

On the exam day, registered candidates must carry a valid Passport or Permanent Resident Card. It should be the same that is used for the registration. Stationery such as pens and headphones for the test will be provided by the Centre. Test takers can bring water in a transparent bottle. No other material is permitted inside the test hall. It includes watches, phones, smartphones, headphones, papers, pencils, mechanical pencils, erasers with wrappers, jewelry.

All the materials required for the candidate to appear for the listening, reading and writing test will be provided by the test center. Materials include headphones, pens etc.

The test starts between 9:00 and 9:30 and usually takes 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the Listening, Reading and Writing components. The speaking component is scheduled separately either on the same day or an adjoining day. The format is as follows:
-Listening: 30 minutes
-Reading: 60 minutes
-Writing 60 minutes
-Speaking 11-15 minutes
*Speaking date may or may not be on the same day as the other three modules.

Request for Cancellation must be made via ticket only at support.bitts.ca however, cancellation requested via telephone or in-person will not be accepted.

IELTS Cancellation Policy

More than 15 days before Listening, Reading Writing Test Date If you cancel your IELTS test registration more than 14 days before the test (Test Day is not counted), you will receive a 75% refund of the total test fee.

Within 14 days before Listening, Reading Writing Test Date If you cancel your IELTS test registration within 14 days of the test (Test Day is not counted) you will not receive any refund.

If one is a refugee, will first submit a document to test center prior to registration for approval. Once approved, can then register for the IELTS exam. On the Test Day, he/she will have to carry their “Refugee Protection Claimant Document” with them and any other form of government-issued photo ID.

More than 15 days before Listening, Reading Writing Test Date Free transfer is allowed.

Within 5 – 14 days (excluding the test day) of Listening, Reading Writing Test Date Transfer allowed – an administrative fee up to 25% of test fee paid is charged

If the transfer request is received within 4 days from the original test date: It will be treated as a cancellation.

Exceptions:
Exceptions could be made under certain circumstances, for which a ticket with all the supporting evidence must be received by your test Centre no later than five days after the scheduled test date.
We define exceptional circumstances as:

  • Serious medical conditions which prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day; such conditions require supporting evidence of a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner
  • Evidence of bereavement, trauma or other forms of significant hardship
  • Military service.

Please note that transfers are only possible within the same test Centre.

Candidates can be entitled to an Enquiry on Results [EOR] report to re-evaluate their IELTS test score. However, the following criteria must be met and/or understood:

  • You must request for EOR within six weeks of your test date
  • To apply for EOR, submit a completed Enquiry on Results Form to ielts@bitts.ca
  • You may choose one or more modules of the test to be reevaluated
  • The fees for EOR is $275 CAD regardless of the number of modules you chose
  • Please mind that the process takes 4-6 weeks, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark.
  • You will receive an EOR letter stating your final result status.
  • You will be required to return your previously issued Test Report Form if your result is changed before a new one can be issued.
  • If there are any changes to your score, you will be refunded the amount of $250 CAD to your registered account. $25 CAD will be deducted as administration fee.
  • If there are no changes, no fees would be refunded.

In an event of lost or misplaced Test Report Forms [TRFs], an additional copy can be issued out to the candidates pending the discretion of the testing supervisory staff and upon investigation of legitimate TRF losses. Please note that TRFs cannot be automatically be re-issued on demand and certain conditions must be met for them to be re-issued.

Application for the Issue of Additional TRFs – $30 CAD admin fee per TRF + $45 CAD postage fees within Canada. Additional postage would apply for locations outside of Canada
Enquiry on Results Form – $275 CAD from which $250 CAD will be refunded with a deduction of $25 CAD, if the score changes to a higher score. No refunds will be provided if there is no change in the score or changes to a lower score.

Request for Test Date Transfer Form – An admin fees of $75 would be charged for Test Date Transfer

An Approved ID (Original Passport / PR Card / Refugee claim document / Secure Certificate of Indian Status only) is mandatory to carry on the day of the test and needs to be presented to the Test Day Staff upon your arrival at the venue. If any candidate forgets to carry his/ her original approved ID on the day of the exam, he/ she would be denied entry. There won’t be any exceptions made and no requests for refunds or transfers would be accepted.
