Topics: Emergency First Aid Certification

Basic one-day course offering emergency first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

3-year certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A or C (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)

Successfully demonstrate all course skill competencies

Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation

Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Duration

CPR A: 6.5 hours in-class OR 3.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning**

CPR C: 7.5 hours in-class OR 4.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning**

Recertification

CPR A: 4 hours in-class OR 3 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning**

CPR C: 5 hours in-class OR 4 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning**

  • Along with a written multiple-choice test, participants are assessed on their proficiency in first aid and CPR during the course.
  • There are no refunds for failed efforts.

You will get an email from Red Cross inviting you to obtain your permanent and official certification card three to four business days following your training. You may retrieve your certification through My Red Cross and print or reprint it in wall or pocket card size. In case you have any trouble locating your certification, kindly get in touch with us.
