MET Digital Retake Policy (4-Skill Test)

Candidates taking the 4-skill MET Digital test may request a retake for only one skill: Writing, Listening, or Reading.

A retake must be requested at the time you receive your scores from the Michigan Language Assessment. To request a retake, log into your Michigan Language Assessment portal, view your scores, and select the “Retake” option.

To proceed with registration, please complete the eligibility check on the right. If you meet the requirements, the registration form will appear automatically.

BITTS Testing Services is an official MET partner for testing across Canada.

Book your test using the following link at BITTS and take the seamless experience of our well-equipped test labs and professional work environment.

Our well-trained staff is available to assist you while you are busy taking your test at BITTS.

  • To request a retake, log into your profile in the Michigan Language Assessment portal and select the retake button when viewing your scores.
  • Within three days of receiving your results you must either:
    • Accept your scores
    • Request a rescore
    • Request a retake
  • If you do not select an action within three days your results will automatically be accepted!
  • Test takers may only retake one skill
  • Retake must be requested within three days of the results issued
  • Retake must be completed within 28 days of decision
  • Score available usually within 5 days of retake date
  • If the retake results in a higher score: A new score report is issued. The report will reflect the score is the result of a retake
  • If the retake results in a lower score: The original score report is issued. The report will not reflect a retake.
