Registration must be accompanied by prepayment. Requests for cancellation and rescheduling must be sent in writing to lifeline@bitts.ca. The following refund, cancellation, and transfer policies will apply if the participant decides to cancel or transfer the course session.
PLEASE NOTE: Requests for student transfers or cancellations with notice of less than three business days are not accepted. A written request must be submitted at least three (3) full business days before the course's scheduled start date to cancel or transfer a registration. To seek a transfer or cancellation that is permitted, send an email to lifeline@bitts.ca. Cancellations received within three days (excluding the session date) incur a $25 administrative charge.
The Blended Courses consist of 2 components –
No refunds would be issued upon failing to complete either of the above-mentioned components.
The participant is responsible for making sure they have access to the online component of the course prior to the in-person session. Please get in touch with the BITTS right away at lifeline@bitts.ca if you have not received an email from Red Cross within 72 hours of registration. All participants must complete the online component prior to the in-person appointment. No exceptions will be made for this regulation. No participant will not be permitted to attend the in-person class without finishing the online modules. No transfers or refunds would be issued if a candidate comes in for an in-person session without completing the online session.
Please contact BITTS Certifications in advance of any illness-related absence. A reported absence due to illness will be treated as a Course Transfer, and an administrative fee of $25 will be applicable.
BITTS reserves the right to postpone or reschedule a course in the event of an emergency, instructor sickness, or low enrollment. In such a case, participants have the option of receiving a full refund or transferring to another day.
BITTS Certifications will make every effort to notify attendees of any course cancellations at least 48 hours in advance.
During the winter months, we will make every effort to notify participants of any course cancellations due to weather conditions at least 24 hours in advance.
We value our customers' privacy and never sell or otherwise reveal any information about them.
We place a high priority on protecting your privacy. Our success is utterly dependent on the confidence our consumers have in us. We are aware of this and take all necessary steps to gain and uphold your trust. We won’t divulge any of your personal information to outside businesses. In accordance with our contractual obligations to this nonprofit organization, we do reveal your personal information to the Canadian Red Cross when necessary.
