Medical Transcription

Medical transcription course introduces the student to the process of transcription or converting voice-recorded reports as dictated by physicians or other healthcare professionals, into text format. This course will provide the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work as a medical transcriber in hospitals, medical clinics, private practice specialties and community health agencies. Upon successful completion of course, Student will be able to understand the content and purpose of chart notes, history and physical examination reports, letters, x-ray reports and consultations.
